As a Geo-Environmental Engineer with years of experience in the development of former brownfield sites, Ross’s skills in this area will be fully utilized at Earth Environmental & Geotechnical. The development of Brownfield land will continue to be a focus for the next few years with the aim to provide much-needed housing throughout the UK.

In December 2020 the Government announced its plan for enabling the delivery of more homes across England, with an aim to help councils deliver 300,000 homes a year by the mid-2020s. Prioritizing brownfield sites and urban areas for housing developments.

Phase 1 Desk Study

A phase 1 desk study 's primary purpose is to detect possible dangers and a lack of safety measures on the construction site. The Phase 1 desk study yields a comprehensive report which details every aspect of the research process. Each phase 1 desk research report includes a walkover survey of the site.
