As a Geo-Environmental Engineer with years of experience in the development of former brownfield sites, Ross’s skills in this area will be fully utilized at Earth Environmental & Geotechnical. The development of Brownfield land will continue to be a focus for the next few years with the aim to provide much-needed housing throughout the UK.

In December 2020 the Government announced its plan for enabling the delivery of more homes across England, with an aim to help councils deliver 300,000 homes a year by the mid-2020s. Prioritizing brownfield sites and urban areas for housing developments.

The basement impact assessment (BIA) takes care of the geological and hydro geological conditions of the area and other potential risks such as drainage, flooding, groundwater quality.
