Flood Risk Assessment

The term " flood risk assessment " (FRA) refers to a process that identifies the potential causes, severity, and necessary mitigation measures for floods. Flood zones 1–3 defined the strategic flood risk assessment. The scope and parameters of the flood risk assessment will depend on the development site's area and terrain. Flood Risk Assessments are conducted for a variety of places in order to meet local planning requirements and to follow the advice and guidance of the Environment Agency and the National Planning Policy Framework.
