OLD LANE, LITTLE HULTON, GROUTING WORKS

A Coal Mining Risk Assessment identified the potential presence of shallow coal mine workings beneath the site, associated with two southerly dipping coal seams.
The subsequent site investigation proved an area of workings with suspected collapsed workings further to the north, towards the outcrop position.
A grouting specification was developed which encompassed an element of trial grouting in areas of suspected collapsed workings and treatment of voided strata.
Our staff supervised the treatment of the program of ground stabilization, which was undertaken over a three-week period.

Site Investigation

Site investigation is a procedure guided by strong and well-defined security practices, with site-specific objective statements and risk assessments provided. A site investigation is the initial stage in establishing an on-site investigation service. Subsurface site investigations are essential to the site's Geo-Environmental status report. It addresses any landfill/gas issue. Earth Environmental has extensive experience in geotechnical, mining, and environmental site inspections.  Visit  https://www.earthenvironmental.co.uk/site-investigation/ to learn more about our services and procedures.  https://www.earthenvironmental.co.uk/conducting-site-investigations/

Flood Risk Assessment

The term " flood risk assessment " (FRA) refers to a process that identifies the potential causes, severity, and necessary mitigation measures for floods. Flood zones 1–3 defined the strategic flood risk assessment. The scope and parameters of the flood risk assessment will depend on the development site's area and terrain. Flood Risk Assessments are conducted for a variety of places in order to meet local planning requirements and to follow the advice and guidance of the Environment Agency and the National Planning Policy Framework. Phase 1 Desk Study

A phase 1 desk study 's primary purpose is to detect possible dangers and a lack of safety measures on the construction site. The Phase 1 desk study yields a comprehensive report which details every aspect of the research process. Each phase 1 desk research report includes a walkover survey of the site. Site examination built with existing data on the site's ecology, geology, hydrogeology, and mining frameworks.  To learn more, visit  http s://www.earthenvironmental.co.uk/phase-1-desk-study/ .
